here is a broccolope. it’s a depiction of a global mycorrhizal network. the broccolo represent trees and the veins on the surface of the cantelope represent the mycorrhizal network.

ps “broccoli” is the singular form of the italian word “broccolo” which is “the flowering top of a cabbage” (according to Wikipedia)
